Gartner Data Center 2007 Recap

I just returned from Las Vegas today after a 3-day Gartner Data Center event at the MGM Grand Hotel.  As an exhibiting company, we had many people stop by to see a demo of our real-time change control product.

As an attendee of the conference, there were many sessions to attend, but my favorite speaker was Scott Adams – the creator of the famous Dilbert cartoon. 

I’ve always been a Dilbert fan and it was a special treat to see the renowned illustrator and writer in person.  It was an honor to hear him talk, especially after he announced that this Vegas event was his last public speaking appearance due to a condition called spasmodic dysphonia.  I noticed he had some difficulty in forming a few words, but his witty personality still came through.
