| January 09, 2008 | | Solidcore selected by Washington University School of Medicine for SOX compliance | Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis selected Solidcore to sustain SOX compliance for their Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record Systems. The school was interested in following SOX requirements as a best-practice for their IT infrastructure processes and operations and needed a change control solution to help them achieve their goal. Solidcore in Action Solidcore’s S3 Control software product will be used to collect change data in real-time from a variety of servers and databases into a single repository, and enable the school to understand “who” made a particular change. Solidcore automatically reconciles change data against the company’s existing processes and systems, and the change prevention capabilities will ensure critical files and configurations do not change outside of process – providing sustainable compliance and IT governance. Column Technologies for the Services Column Technologies, a partner of Solidcore, will work with Washington University on the implementation of Solidcore’s S3 Control software in conjunction with BMC Software’s Business Service Management solutions as needed. by Erin Swanson, Marketing ESwanson@solidcore.com | | |
