Tokyo Electron Device Inks Distribution Agreement with Solidcore for Embedded Device Security

Japanese Windows distributor Tokyo Electron Device partners with Solidcore, making Solidcore the de facto standard for device security

Global PartnershipWe just issued a press release this morning about our distribution agreement with Tokyo Electron Device (TED), which will help deliver Solidcore’s S3 Control Embedded software to more device manufacturers for improved device security.  This rounds out Solidcore's partnerships with each of the major Windows distributors in Japan: Ryoyo Electro, Unidux, and now TED.

Our CEO, Rosen Sharma, and VP of Sales, Jim Sarale are in Japan today to promote this news with TED.

For those of you new to Solidcore’s embedded software technology, it’s a small footprint, low-overhead change control solution that enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to secure and control their embedded devices, including those running the Windows operating systems.  The software installs quickly and easily on devices such as ATMs, point-of-sale systems, thin client computers, and multifunction printers to enforce the device manufacturer’s software change policy.  The software provides proactive protection against unauthorized changes and helps minimize the ongoing maintenance of devices in the field, thus reducing OEM support costs.  Solidcore S3 Control Embedded also provides zero-day security protection by ensuring only authorized software can run on an embedded device – eliminating the need to run “performance-draining” anti-virus software applications.
